I rode my first post-Epic mountain bike ride yesterday morning with Petie from the bike shop. It was one of the regular rides but only the two of us rocked up which was great. We rode for 2½ hours around the southern side of Stellenbosch starting from Paradyskloof onto Onderpappagaiberg and around the hills through the vineyards. A lovely ride and a fairly gentle reintroduction but man I was exhausted afterwards! I think it may take a while longer to fully recover than I had anticipated.
